“ Stopped in during our trek back home to Illinois. Loved this place. The coffee and pastries were amazing. There's a book nook in the back too. Wish we had one back home! Also the ladies that were working this morning were super helpful! ”
“ Heat atmosphere. It’s actually much larger inside than I expected. Kind of a darker atmosphere, but it would be a great place to bring friends and talk. It also looks like they have live music here occasionally. ”
“ Blooming Grounds is such a cute and fun little coffee shop. I came here on a visit to Winona after questing for a coffee shop for several hours, and was not disappointed at all. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was great (I had the mushroom and brie soup with a side salad), and the drinks were great (I had the lavender matcha). The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, with plenty of seating options and a great vibe. I hope to visit Winona again soon, in which case I will definitely stop here for my beverage needs. ”
“ The vegan panini is delicious, and the kettle chips are tasty. Both the mixed berry and orange smoothies are yummy - not too sweet, not too tart. A must when in town. Parking is usually easy to find near the front. Decent atmosphere with friendly staff. ”
“ I love exploring new coffee shops on Sundays, and being out of town didn’t change that! During my visit the weekend of Valentine’s, this charming cafe was our last stop before heading home—and I’m so glad we made it. The service was truly outstanding; when my first drink choice wasn’t quite what I expected, they kindly offered to remake it at no extra charge, which I really appreciated. The shop had a lively, bustling atmosphere, a testament to how popular it is with locals and visitors alike. The quality of both the food and drinks was great, and while I usually enjoy a quieter setting for work or study, I’d love to come back during a slower time to fully soak in the cozy ambiance. If you're in town, this spot is definitely worth a visit! Ordered: - Cherry Kiss Cold Press (amaretto flavored w/cherry cold foam) - (first order did not like) - Iced Matcha with a shot of vanilla Cherry Cold Foam (the one they remade, I did really like the cold foam) - Chicken Corn Chowder Soup (I think it had chicken) - I really liked it - Pumpkin Bar ”
“ Hands down the absolute best place to eat in Winona! I stayed in Winona for 4 days, and ate there multiple times. I ate a variety of foods including the apple crisp latte (iced and hot), vanilla steamer, apple cider, quiches, breakfast burrito, turkey cheddar panini and pesto garlic wrap. It's hard to pick a favorite, it was all good. The panini was a game changer, I'm going to be dreaming about that for a while. ”
“ I always read the lowest reviews, but rarely have I ever had similar experiences. The one star review by a former employee was very interesting (actually kind of funny). I have always had a good experience. The food has been very good and the drinks I have had have also been good. I like that they support local musicians even though not all the music is what I like, but that is just personal preference. ”
“ Lovely coffee shop, love that not everything is in a wrap or bread for breakfast for those that do low carb. I got the Breakfast Egg Scramble Bowl and it was pretty tasty, fueled up for a day of adventuring around! ”
